How we got engaged
After the closing of our house we had plans to have a few friends over for a "pizza & champagne" party to celebrate! As soon as we closed on the house I picked up the pizzas and we headed over to our new home. He insisted on "carrying me through the threshold", then set my down at the bottom of the stairs and proposed! It was the very first memory in our new home- we didn't have a chair, a table, a plate in the house just us. Within an hour we had 50 of our best friends enjoying our new home and the impromptu (well for me anyways) engagement party!
